Description

What do sheep count when they can’t sleep? As our little ones ponder and drift off to dreamland, their imaginative answers may surprise us.

In What Do Sheep Count? our dreams and imaginations come alive through inspiring gouache illustrations by Haley Hunt.

The collection of children’s books by Milkbarn showcases a first-ever series of coordinating apparel prints and hardback book illustrations. Our cover artwork of What Do Sheep Count? matches our one-of-a-kind Valais Sheep print seen in all of Milkbarn’s baby apparel and treasures.

Author, Rory Feek

Singer-songwriter and celebrated storyteller, Rory Feek combines the significance of his Tennessee farm life with his deep-rooted love for family and adventure in this heartfelt tale of What Do Sheep Count?, one of four children’s books in collaboration with Milkbarn.

Illustrator, Haley Hunt

Capturing a moment in time with a mixture of watercolor, gouache, and a touch of whimsy, Southern California artist and illustrator Haley Hunt brings to life the pages of Mr. Harvey’s Barn, one of seven children’s books illustrated for Milkbarn. For many years, Haley’s sketches and drawings have played an integral part in Milkbarn’s one-of-a-kind prints. Haley and her husband, Charlie, make their home along the shores of San Diego, where she enjoys surfing, walks along the beach, and experimenting in the kitchen.
